to be used in estimating costs.
Contact us for a specific quote tuned
to your specific needs. Note that rates can be
discounted depending on any perks offered.
- San Francisco and Bay Area
- Other United States and Canada
- 1 day: $1,200/day worked
2+ days: $1,000/day worked
- Domestic daily rates include
travel costs, travel time, lodging,
and meals for the consultant. Or you
may cover these costs yourself and
only pay the $700/day consulting
fee.
- Other Countries
- 1 day $US 1,700/day worked
2+ days $US 1,500/day worked
- International daily rates
include visas, inoculations, travel
costs, travel time, lodging, and meals
for the consultant. Or you
may cover these costs yourself and
only pay the $US 700/day consulting
fee.
- Consultation via email
- $50/hr. via email, with no rush
$100/hr. via email, with a rush to meet a deadline
Fine Print
- Note that all rates are based on a maximum eight hour day
and maximum five day week. Over eight hours per day is billed at
150% applicable rates. Over five days per week is billed at
200% applicable rates.
- Locations that require air travel must allow at least 14 days
lead time. Fewer days lead time will result in a higher
daily rate.
- No charge is made for time spent on mistaken solutions,
except for email consultation, where mistakes are usually
driven by incomplete or misleading statements of the problem.
- All invoices are payable within 14 days unless prior arrangement
has been made. New clients should expect to
supply either a purchase order
or a 10% deposit to guaranty payment.
- You own the software produced when you pay my full rate. If you
chose to discount my rate, I own the software produced and will
non-exclusivley license it to you.
- I will not agree to sign your NDA unless you agree to sign my NDA.
